Airbus aircraft published the 3D-printer

French Airbus Aircraft Corporation introduced the world’s first model of a mini-aircraft, printed the 3D-printer, reports UNN with reference to the SCMP. Aircraft model called Thor, made of nylon, has a weight of 21 kg and a length of less than 4 m. “We want to know whether we can accelerate the process of development with the help of 3D-printing, not only parts, but the whole system”, – said the developer Thor Detlef Konigorsky. Airbus has shown a novelty in the international aerospace exhibition and air show in Germany.
