Health app increases battery consumption on Android

Microsoft recently released Health app update with integration with voice assistant Cortana on the Android platform. This application can work with a fitness tracker Microsoft Band 2, but the update has caused the emergence of a number of problems with it on compatible devices running Android.
The message in the store Google Play Store application states that Microsoft Health leads to accelerated battery consumption on Android, currently no solution to this problem is offered. At the same time users say that consumption increased not only during application, but also when it is closed. One of the owners of the Nexus Smartphone 6P writes that the day the application spent 7% charge.
So far, the only solution is to delete the application from the system in the hope that the next update will correct the situation. Last update enabled to use Cortana app for Android tracker Band 2, it was previously only possible on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft presence of faults is not officially recognized, but certainly knows about them and fix them quickly.
